Headquartered in Beijing, CMM-I represents a broad portfolio of international content owners and creators providing distribution and production support and services for the Chinese content market.

We specialize in identifying the right partners in China and structuring realistic, sustainable deals for international content across key genres including animation, drama, film, formats and documentaries. With over 30 years of experience, our team understands not only what works—but also what doesn’t—when it comes to cross-border collaboration in media.

CMM-I also works with major international content industry events to manage and support Chinese participation.

We serve as the exclusive China representatives for such media and entertainment markets as MIPCOM, MIP London, ATF, as well as South by Southwest markets including SXSW, SXSW Sydney and SXSW London.

CMM-I supports international media companies entering the Chinese media space. We provide strategic market entry support and analysis on a project by project or long term basis. This can include market evaluation reports, production and distribution support as well as long term representation for clients.

We also provide content distribution support for leading U.S. and European studios—as well as independent distributors—to bring premium content to the Chinese market. We offer end-to-end support, including strategic and pricing guidance, deal negotiation and on-the-ground delivery of materials, ensuring effective and legally compliant distribution across China’s major distribution platforms.

CMM-I ensures that all Chinese clients attending international media trade markets optimize their content advertising and promotional activities.

In China, we produce and manage flagship international content festivals such as the Festival of German Cinema in China for German Films as well as the previous MIPChina — connecting global creators with Chinese industry leaders.
